Hey, it’s been a although, hasn’t it? I never think I’ve written a website write-up in a yr or so. I hope you’re all doing nicely in these nuts situations. As always, thanks for looking at.
I have a issue: What is your favorite U.S. National Park?
Over the previous two decades, I’ve fallen in appreciate with them.
Ahead of the pandemic, I experienced only visited a handful of them, mainly by incident. But once the pandemic hit, and it was protected sufficient to highway-vacation, I drove all close to the country traveling to them.
Now I have witnessed 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.
Very first, there was Redwood Nationwide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…
Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling sights of nuclear reactors…
Then Utah, home to some of the finest national parks in the region: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.
Following Utah, I frequented Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Incredibly hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is exactly where I live now.
Then there was Major Bend, Texas. The evening sky is remarkable there! You can see so a lot of stars.
Followed by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…
And most not long ago, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Countrywide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even noticed mountain goats.
I feel so lucky that I have gotten to see so a lot of our lovely country in the previous couple a long time.
When I was younger, I targeted only on international travel (this blog site is not known as Ashley Overseas for nothin’). But above the earlier two yrs, I’m delighted to report that I’ve received a newfound appreciation for my own yard.
It turns out you really do not have to fly halfway all around the entire world to go on an experience.
As for my favored? It’s a two-way tie amongst Redwood and Large Bend.
How many nationwide parks have you frequented? Do you have a favored?
(Here’s a complete list in scenario you’re curious.)
